Billing and Cooing, Cat Style

Tuesday August 26, 2003
"Caterwauling" is such a hot topic that the New York Times chose to cover it in an article. In this case, of course, the caterwauling comes from the big cats at the Bronx Zoo, which has an active breeding program for the mega-sized kitties. Included in the breeding program is a study on the reason for caterwauling.

On the home front, caterwauling is more often referred to as "calling," as defined in my Feline Glossary. Follow the links to more terminology about the sexual side of cats.
