Photo of the Week: City

"My boyfriend and I adopted City from a friend who had found him as a kitten, scrounging around and meowing pitifully in a New York City alley (thus his name, "City"). My boyfriend recently drove cross-country with City as his co-pilot, but unfortunately, City has been missing for about 5 days at this point in Carlsbad, CA (San Diego). We're truly heartbroken, but we keep hoping he'll turn up .

This was a picture that was taken of him while he was in one of his favorite resting spots in our apartment. We don't quite know how he discovered the bathroom sink as a place he liked to nestle in, but we think it may be because it was cool and smooth and wrapped around his little body just so. As you can see in the photo, City's eyes got all sleepy and hazy whenever he was resting in the sink; he always looked so peaceful there because he had found his special nook!
