Cats Photo Calendar - March 2004 - Tabby Cats

March marks the first month of Spring, when the earth is rich with promises of things to be. Tabby cats are almost as old as Mother earth herself, and are the epitome of Catness in all its wonder and glory. We've chosen this month to salute the wonderful tabby in all of its manifestations.

Did you know that every single cat is a tabby underneath? Many breeds also accept tabby markings among their color variations. For more information on tabby cats, read The Glorious Tabby, a tribute to tabbies in all their manifestations .

The winsome tabby girl pictured at left is Georgia, one of our 2004 March Tabby stars. You may submit photos of your own tabby cat, using the guidelines on the Photo Submittal page. Be sure to write a paragraph or so about the cat, and use "Tabby Photo" as the subject of the email.
