(7) Tracy says:

About 6 months ago I was fortunate enough to adopt a Hemmingway kitten at the age of 3 months. Like othes, Chloe has 7 claws on the front and 6 on the back legs. She is a pure joy. A day never goes by that she does not make me laugh. She is very affectionate and loves to play. With all those claws, she makes for one heck of a climber and yes, she loves to climb.

A Hemmingway cat found his way to our house a couple of months ago, and just waltzed into the house like he owned it. He’s about a year old and our other cat took to him pretty well and he has not left since. He has 7 toes on the front and his back are normal. He is a sweetheart and loves to cuddle and my 4 year old adores him.

My husband and I adopted our Hemingway cat, Tumnus, from my sister’s cat’s litter. He looks like a Maine Coon, but his mother was grey and white and his father was black and white. He has six toes on one foot and seven on the other. He is 11 weeks old and so much fun! When he’s not being a hyper kitten he snuggles on my lap and purrs. Our friend are all captivated by him too. We love our Tumnus!

I have a heningway cat , she has 7 toes on one front paw and 6 on the other and no tail at all, not even a nub. Her name is Mittens , we called her that because she looks like she is wearing a pair of mittens on her hand. She walks like a rabbit and hops like on too, she always playfull and loving.

I have a 3 month Hemingway kitten named Chloe Mittens. I got her when she was three months old for my 30th birthday. She is black and white short haired. She has 6 fingers on her hands and 5 toes on each foot. She has brought me so much joy and happiness. Those extra fingers come in handy for her when it comes to playing with her toys or climbing.

(24) Kimberly says:

I had a poly baby a few years back. She was mostly grey with white and a tiny bit of orange and she had no tail.

We had a family emergency and had to leave her with friends and she was lost while we were away and never returned or found. We fostered many litters for the animal foundation in our area and she was the only one I ever adopted. I have never found another like her.

I hope that she is happy and safe. She is still missed.

(25) Shannon says:

You can search for Extra-Toes Cat, Hemingway or polydactyl on www.petfinder.com Any of those three will show a list of “Hemingway” cats available for adoption, also it searches by zipcode which is helpful.
