Unless you're one of us who considers cat hair to be a decorative accessory, you've wrestled with the problem of cat hair on upholstered furniture (which, of course, transfers itself to your black knit top and pants). Thanks to Cats Forum member Susannah (suayres1) for these tips for easy cat hair removal from upholstered furniture, without having to vacuum for hours.

I am desperate! I have 2 very long-haired cats and one tuxedo who is also shedding like crazy! I will try all of your suggestions. Just one question: what are “water shoes” please? I’m guessing rubber soles? Anything else special about them? Thank you.

I have given up – I have a silky thick white long hair -and he can carpet the house and me daily with fur -
I have one of those (for clothes) little adhesive pet rollers (sheets peel off)- and it works like a charm! just can’t find refills easily – (as long as you go right out of the house!) Otherwise, my dollar store carries wide masking tape and contact paper foor deep cleaning – HAH!
Haven’t tried the rubber stuff – I will
