One of the most controversial issues is whether or not to spay a rescued pregnant cat. While some people are repulsed at the thought of killing kittens, others believe the question begs a larger issue, that of the overpopulation problem.

I just recently had a stray cat to come up. I took her to the vet for her shots only to find out that she was expecting. I don’t think you should have the cat spayed. I consider this like killing animals. You should give them a chance if you are willing to find homes for the animals. Our new girl will be delivering in a week or two, and we already have people wanting the kittens when they are old enough. Please think about your situation before you just agree to the vet’s opinion of having them spayed immediatley like ours did.
