Cat Food, Coming and Going
Wednesday November 10, 2004
If you've followed New Cat City so far, you know that Avram is busily planning for his new cat (or most likely, two kittens.) He's just a ball of nervous energy as the day gets closer for his cat(s) to come home - maybe this weekend, who knows? Please forgive the bad pun in this title, but Avram's latest concerns have been
1. The kind of cat food to buy and
2. The best kind of litter.
Both of these decisions are of prime importance in the health and happiness of any cat. Avram is aware that litter box avoidance is one of the major reasons for cats being abandoned or surrendered at shelters. He's not the type of person to do either of those, but he wants to start his furkids off with the very best he can afford. So far, I'm pleased with the way he's leaning, both toward food and litter.
I must say that Avram's shopping list looks something like the national deficit. Most people start off with just the basics, but he is leaving nothing to chance. Can you spell E N T H U S I A S T I C?
