Katrina Animal Rescue: How to Help
Thursday September 22, 2005
As Hurricane Rita leaves its own path of destruction, the HSUS, ASPCA, and dozens of other animal rescue organizations continue their attempts to rescue the animal victims of Hurricane Katrina, with little or no help from the Federal Government. The HSUS has asked the public to contact President Bush, The Governor of Louisiana, and other governmental department heads, "to ask for full federal support in the rescue and relief efforts for pets and other animals affected by Hurricane Katrina." There is a form at the bottom of the linked page that will automatically send out your email to the listed officials.
