In the late 19th century, North America discovered the Persian cat, and it soon reached the zenith of being the most popular cat in the United States, an honor it still holds today.Enjoy these pictures of Persian cats, submitted by our readers. The album has been updated today, with a number of new pictures. The lovely Min Min, whose picture was submitted by Angela, is featured here for the first time.
You may submit your own Persian cat pictures, using the Photo Submittal Guidelines. Pet and rescue photos are also most welcome. Be sure to write a paragraph or so about the cat, and use "Photo - Persian" as the subject of the email.

I love my cat. I’ve had her for 14 years now and she is also a long hair. I love her very much but if she passes before i ( and after all the mourning) I want this stunning creature. Persians are so beautiful so exotic and distinctive. They are the ,I’m better than you, kitty. I already have that in my cat so let’s take it up a notch. Yes, that is my princess and no you can’t pet her.lol A cat that your family and friends hate because she is so beautiful and she only loves you.
