As a direct relative, the Somali shares the playful characteristics of the Abyssinian, and can be just as clownlike and inquisitive as their shorthaired relative. Somalis, like the Abys, thrive on human companionship, and are very desirable as pets.Do you share your home with a Somali? I own a somali and they are the best cats! They are so lovable and always want to be in the same room as you do. From now on all of my cats are going to be somalis!
