New Personality Test for Men

Tuesday October 3, 2006
What Kind of Cat Guy Are You?

Are you a sap for your cats, can you take them or leave them, are you a closet cat lover, or do you just pretend to like cats? Take this multiple choice personality test to find out. (Ladies, if you know your man well enough, you can take this quiz for him.)

This is a javascript quiz, so please make sure javascript is enabled in your browser before taking the quiz. It should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway: This quiz is strictly for fun, and is based on my observations of men with (and without) cats over several decades. If none of the answers to any given question don't seem to fit, just pick the closest one.

Have fun with it and please don't feel too bad if the results don't seem to go along with your self-image. It is a strictly UNscientific quiz. The quiz result pages offer advice for men who truly fall into one or another category, but if you think the results were all wrong, don't take anything on those pages as gospel.

After you've taken the test, please click the link on the answer page to come back here and post your results.

Thanks to Stephen Chapman, About Guide to Javascript for the use of his great script for this quiz!

Trouble with this quiz was that I was often given a choice of four answers…none of which were even CLOSE to being correct!

I think only us saps take this quiz in any case!!! Love this site! Lots of info that a new cat-dad needs to get back into the swing of being a cat sap!

I agree with Steven Barr. This quiz is idiotic. I love cats, always have, but I scored as “a closet cat lover”. I AM a cat person much more than a dog person, but I do love dogs too, and this quiz seems skewed to that “either/or” type of thinking. I would write more but kitty is climbing on my keyboard.
