Top Picks Canned Cat Food

Thursday March 22, 2007
Because of the ongoing fears about the Menu Foods Recall of certain canned cat foods and packets, it seems a good time to reiterate my own top choices. Please note that none of these products are of the "cuts and gravy" variety, and none of them are listed on the recall list. You will see Nutro Natural Choice listed here. Although that company's "gravy packets" are on the recalled list, I have no reason to fear the canned food listed, and include it among the rotation of canned foods my own cats eat, as I do most of the products listed here.

Any of them would form a fine basis for your cat's diet, supplemented by dry food in lesser quantity. The bottom line is that the best food is wasted, if your cat won't eat it, so don't be too focused on the numbers. The order is based mostly by my own cats' reaction to these foods, and as we know, cats will sometimes turn up their noses today at yesterday's favorite.

I have been feeding my dog human food since the dog scare now I am trying to get her to go bk to dog food, she refuses to eat, how long can I go before she will start eating again her dog food. The vet says she will eat when she is hungry, this is upsetting to me, do you have any info for me to follow?
Thanks
