Free-Riding "McCavity" Astonishes U.K. Bus Driver, Passengers
Wednesday April 11, 2007
A stunning odd-eyed white cat, dubbed "Macavity," has charmed bus driver Bill Khunkhun and passengers with his regular "stow-away" habits on Khunkhun's bus No. 311. Macavity hops on the bus around three times a week, either hides under a seat, or takes his own for about a quarter mile, then hops off at the Churchill stop near a shopping center. He uses the same routine for his return trip back to a residential area, according to the Daily Mail article.
Perhaps he's going for a bit of fish & chips at one of the local stops? One commenter to the Daily Mail article, in response to a question "Does he pay his fare," replied, "He doesn't pay his fare because he has a "Bus Paws!"
In a time of sad and bad news, I found this story delightfully refreshing. Hope you enjoy it too!
