Since our test cats Jaspurr and Joey had both easily slipped out of both collars and h-style harnesses, we were very interested in testing the cat Walking Jacket. After the cats spent a few days of interested sniffing, we decided the time was right. The first time out, Joey escaped the jacket within 10 minutes, a case of "user error." We can second this walking jacket! It’s the same one we bought for our 2 cats, and we’ve used them for over 3 years with no problems or adverse wear&tear (and the jackets have been through alot). Once they got used to the weight and balance of having a jacket on, our guys absolutely loved it.
Yeh, we tried this jacket with our little Timmy, and it worked really well. Cant recommend them enough. Our neighbour used the same jacket with their Maine Coone – and amazingly it worked just as well. There are straps that can be extended to fit different cats snugly. Cant recommend enough!
I just bought this after reading this review. Gave it the trial this weekend. My kitty was some what familar with the harness you can buy at a store. But never was fully acustom to it. This one seemed much better. She actually moved around the patio quite a bit more. And even experminted with the length of the leash. My only problem is my kitty is so furry.. is hard to clasp the clasps w/o getting her hair in there

This is the best cat harness on the market, I tried many of the others none of them were safe enough for me to walk either of my cats outside without fear of them getting free,this jacket is exellent I now walk my dog and two cats together safely,dont waste your money on the cheaper versions you will be very disapointed,I have two very happy cats thanks to the cat walking jacket..5 stars…
This harness is really the best. I use it for my Maine Coon and like the review said, the first time, it was more like slinking around outside, but it took just a few excursions outdoors to get her used to it. Now she bounds out the door ready to explore the world and does not act like she is restricted at all. You do need to pay attention to the two finger rule for tightness or if scared, the cat may escape. My kitty cannot get out of this harness (and she has tried on occasion.) I highly recommend this jacket.
