New Cat Calendars for 2008
Wednesday August 29, 2007
Labor Day weekend marks the ending of summer festivities, and we start looking forward to school activities, falling leaves, cooler weather, and goodness me, the fall and winter holidays. With that thought in mind, it's time to think about those calendars that make such great gifts for the holidays. For the cat lover who wants to surround himself or herself with everything feline, cat calendars are an absolute must. Everyone in my family puts cat calendars in their winter gift-giving lists. These are my favorite cat calendars for 2008: desk calendars, wall calendars, mini wall calendars and lovely cat picture calendars. Truthfully, I haven't bought one yet, but I've already picked two or three from this list, so look for some reviews in the near future. The photo shown is the Cats MiniBox Calendar, a purrfect size for my office desk. Hey! Charity begins at home, or so they say.

Hey Franny – I keep clicking on the storyline to see the list of calendars but it just comes back to this page, I’m not finding any list??????
BTW, MUCHO, MUCHO THANKS for your many kitty efforts! We love you, Franny!
Whoops! Thanks for the heads-up, JoAnn. It was my error but it’s fixed now.
Franny
I’m waiting for someone to do a page-a-day type calendar of all black kitties!
To go along with my last comment — Browntrout has lovely cat calendars and every year they do a wall calendar that is all black cats. They also have a black kitten mini-calendar.
These calenders came to my attention four years ago when a co-worker gave me one as a gift. I enjoyed it so much that I buy one every year for my desk. The cat calendar by Page-A-Day from Workman Publishing Company is the one I buy. It has cat pics and fun cat facts. Always something to inform and brighten my day. Thanks for kitty articles.
For feral cat friends, IndyFeral will soon be releasing their second annual calendar. It is a 12 month calendar and every month has a different picture of ear-tipped feral or stray cats. The proceeds go to IndyFeral, which is a non-profit doing TNR in the Indianapolis area, so every purchase helps free roaming cats. You can see the 2007 calendar at http://www.IndyFeral.org, and the 2008 version will be available soon.
You added the black kitty calendar!!!
