Cat of the Week: Diva FuzzButt
This is Diva Fuzzbutt, a gentle and loving soul. Our chunky baby was found as a kitten in the parking lot of a nightclub and brought home by our daughter. She knows no fear and believes everyone and everything should be her friend and loves to give kisses. It's really a job keeping that unusually thick, fine, kinky fur brushed but we love to do it ... after which she usually prances around with a "don't I look hot!" look. She's got 3 feline housemates and gets along with all of them. We also have a very large husky (dog) that we let into the house once in a while ... and she's never let him intimidate her! His wagging tail is one of her favorite playthings!Cecilia Aranaydo
Because I was late in selecting the first Cat of the Week for January, I'm playing "catchup" by posting the second one for the month today. Saturday, I'll be back on track for the normal weekly Saturday delivery.
My Cat of the Week photos are personally selected from general photo submittals (I do not accept photos submitted specifically for "Cat of the Week.") Diva Fuzzbutt's photo was submitted along with another cat's picture as a general submittal. Her photo also appears in the January Blue Cats Picture GalleryAll I can say is "What's not to love about this cat." Her beauty speaks for itself and I love the story of "nightclub babe to chunky family baby." You may submit your own photos by following the Photo Submittal Guidelines . Pictures received without all the required information will be returned to sender.

She is beautiful, and sounds like a wonderful kitty!
grrr what a gorgeous grrl!!!
OK, “Diva Fuzzbutt” has to be one of the best cat names I have ever heard!
What do you mean, ‘ We have a large husky dog that we let into the house once in a while’? Dog’s need companionship too and can be quite lonely outside by themselves. It is a sad life for a dog living outside.
By the way, your cat is beautiful as is your dog
If your kitty has problems with grooming, try shaving it. I did it as a joke at first to make my calico look like Mr Biggeslworth (Austin Powers Movie) and it’s been great. I never have to worry about brushing her out any more. Just a thought…
