YouTube Video: Cat Being Vacuumed

Monday February 18, 2008
Our Rainbow Bridge cat, Bubba, used to love being vacuumed. His salon of choice was the top of our dryer in the utility room, and he would raise his chin and luxuriate to the pleasant brushing and vibration. It was a regular bonding experience for Bubba and his Cat Dad, Asa.

Vacuuming a cat is a very good way to keep him free of loose hair that can cause mats, spread dander allergens, and stick all over your clothing and furniture. Surprisingly enough, some cats actually love to be vacuumed once they learn the noise doesn't hurt them.

Evidence of this little idiosyncrasy is demonstrated by this YouTube video by Grimace of his cat, Baby, being vacuumed, and coming back for more! Grimace wants you to know that no cat was harmed in the making of this video.
