Franny's Cats BlogEnjoy Easter Without the Easter LilyOf all the popular seasonal houseplants, the Easter Lily is one of the most toxic. According to Dr. Jill Richardson, quoted in Catnip Magazine, published by Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, "Even licking the leaves on an Easter lily or licking some pollen could be enough to send your cat into fatal kidney failure."
So dye Easter eggs and arrange them on the table without the cellophane nesting material (also harmful if ingested), but please forgo the Easter lilies.
