Calico cats represent the brilliant rainbow of colors in a sunny July day. Of all cat color patterns, Calicos are perhaps the loveliest with their tri-colored exuberance. Although most Calicos are females because of genetics, the rare male does sometimes pop up, as you may see in this album. Calico cats are featured in our July Cats Calendar, however it just isn't fair to withhold their colorful beauty the rest of the year.Enjoy this gallery featuring colorful calico cats, then send your own calico photo, if you're lucky enough to share your home with one. Thanks for posting Abby’s photo, Franny! Her friends and family will be excited to see it. She came through a bit of a rough patch, healthwise, last Christmas, but is back to her unique self now. She’s developed an affinity for choral music (although I’m not sure headbanging to Mendelssohn is normal), has learned to open most of the doors in our apartment and shuts them after herself, and is working on combining several unlike toys to create new games.
