Do you think you can tell the sex of a cat at first glance? It may not be as easy as you think. Even gender-based color patterns are not always a solid clue. Names may not be a giveaway either, as evidenced by my own cat, Earl Grey, a female. (I call her Early Girl so she won't be too confused later in life!)
