Waaaay back on April 30th, I posted the above photo along with an invitation to participate in a little contest by writing the best caption for this photo. To date, 58 people responded in the comments. My good friend and colleague, Janet Tobiassen, DVM, and I have chosen our top picks of the bunch, and it's time to vote for your favorite.

Our criteria for the captions included short, punchy phrases instead of lengthy dialogue, and relevance. Irrelevant political statements were immediately ruled out. Reference to the little blue thingamabob in Houdini's mouth was definitely a plus.

Please select your favorite caption in the poll. In approximately a week, we'll post the winner and runners-up. As mentioned before, no prizes will be awarded, other than the questionable benefits of bragging rights. :)
