Internationally-known cat Betsy is looking for her owner. Betsy was living rough on the streets of Richmond, London England when the kind lady who had been feeding her brought her into Kitten to Cats Veterinary Clinic. While Betsy is living in relative splendor to her former existence, what Betsy really wants is her real home, if not with her original owners, then with a loving adopted mum.
Betsy is an old lady cat at 15+ years. Although she loves petting and companionship, she prefers it on her terms and can turn cranky if overstimulated. For that reason, Betsy would probably be happiest as the only cat in a home without children. One thing clinic workers noticed quickly was that whenever anyone opens the door she bolts back into her cage. She is clearly terrified of going outside and it might have been the case that she's been kicked out of a few houses in her time, so she should be an indoors-only cat.

What a beautiful cat Betsy is. Poor sweetie. I’m glad she at least has a place to stay. I just spread the word to some friends about Betsy. I hope it helps find her a permanent home.
