Cat Breed of the Week: Ragdoll
Tuesday August 5, 2008
Ragdolls are said to have been named for their proclivity to relax entirely when held. The Ragdoll adores its humans and would generally prefer to be wherever you are. Don't be surprised to have a Ragdoll shadow as you go from room to room, talking to you in her sweet musical voice. The beautiful Ragdoll girl pictured here is Chloe. Pictures of your Ragdoll cats are also welcome. As soon as I accumulate enough, I'll put a Ragdoll photo gallery online. Please follow the Photo Submittal Guidelines to send me pictures.

Such a pretty girl! Merry Christmas!
My mom has a bluepoint Ragdoll, who is full of personality and loves to play. Its no wonder they call this breed Ragdoll since he goes completely limp when picked up. And he’s not scared of anything, anyone, or any giant dog that may show up at the door. He also loves to travel and adapts well to his home on wheels as long as there’s a window near.
