Cat Picture of the Week: Mo

Mo lives on a 42' boat with my husband and I. We had always been dog lovers but when we retired to the boat, we thought a cat might make more sense. Let me tell you, we've never been more entertained by any pet we've had. We got Mo when he was a very small kitten, in fact his tail wasn't 3 inches long. He now weighs 20 lbs! We also thought he was a female, and named (him) after the young lady trying to find homes for this litter of kittens in an outdoor restaurant/bar in Fort Myers Beach, FL. All of his littermates were calico. Mo is a very unique cat in many ways and is the perfect boat cat!© Harriet Lewis Mo's picture will also appear in my 2008 August Domestic Cats Picture Gallery. I was drawn by his pure handsomeness as well as the visions of his idyllic life as a seafaring cat.
