South Mississippi Pioneers Unique Wag 'n' Train

NEW YORK—The ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) today announced that, as part of its ASPCA® Mission: OrangeTM campaign, the Humane Society of South Mississippi (HSSM) will unveil its new Wag ‘n’ Train community outreach vehicle during the highly anticipated pet parade at Jonestoberfest at Jones Park on October 18 at 2:00 p.m.
The Wag 'n' Train event, staffed by trained volunteers, will be able to go from neighborhood to neighborhood in Gulfport-Biloxi, talking to residents about spay/neuter, and distributing pet care supplies, vouchers toward medical care for their pets, and information on other benefits the HSSM has to offer. This project is part of Mission Oranges' goal of helping rebuild the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina.
