Adopted Shelter Cat of the Week Picture Gallery

Monday March 9, 2009

This gallery is associated with the Shelter Cat Adoption Success Gallery. Each week I select a very special adopted shelter cat for our readers to honor.

There is nothing more rewarding that the knowledge that you have made a difference to another being. Adopting a shelter cat makes a big difference, not only to the cat, who may literally have been on death row, but to your own life. Cats are well-known for giving unconditional love to their human companions, and you'll find your life enriched immeasurably. These pictures of adopted shelter cats and their stories are marvelous testaments to the rewards of adopting cats from shelters.

You may submit your own adopted shelter cat story by following the Photo Submittal Guidelines. Be sure to put "Adopted Shelter Cat" in the subject of your email. Pictured here is Caruso, the first Adopted Shelter Cat of the Week.

Looks just like my lil TuffGuy that I “stole” while hiking our neighborhood RR tracks. He followed us home, tail held high and we had 14 wonderful years together. He has that special place in my heart forever and my life has been sincerely enriched by his presence. Thank you for posting this GORGEOUS kitty and giving my day that something special!
