My cat's name is Doodle Bug or Miss Bug for short. She is one of the many cat rescues that have passed through my home. She is also the most special to me. She arrived on my door step, in my son's jacket pocket, five years ago last Christmas Eve, as a 3 day old orphan whose mother had been killed by a car. She was so small and weak all I could do was pray she had the will to live. After many long days and nights of around the clock feedings with a bottle she began to thrive. She soon grew into the most beautiful and loving cat I've ever known. . .read Doodle's full story.
Doodle's photo will also appear in the new June Longhair Cats Picture Gallery, as soon as I've accumulated enough photos to populate one. I love her majestic white ruff, and her "tiara" of dark blue-black over those soulful emerald eyes. After Rebecca's stint as a surrogate mother, hand feeding this tiny rescued kitten, it's no wonder she is special in Rebecca's eyes.
