Anyone who has every tried to give a cat nasty-tasting liquid medication knows that it is not always easy. My colleague, Janet Crosby, DVM, Guide to Veterinary Medicine, demonstrates alternatives, such as mixing the meds with a small bit of food (be sure to ask your vet first.) She also shows how to handle a large, resistive cat, to make the process easier on both the cat and its human caregiver. The cat in this video is Oliver, our editor, Bonnie's cat.
