I'm always on the lookout for new and useful products, both for my own cats, and for my readers' cats. So when a forum member asked if anyone had tried the Tidy Cats Breeze Litter System, my curiosity came to play. I found the product on Amazon.com and read the customer reviews. Scooping litter boxes can be a tiresome duty, especially for caregivers of multiple cats. I was so impressed by the favorable reviews on Amazon.com that I ordered the system.

The first test cat was my Jenny, who shares the master bedroom suite with me. Joey, who has been a daily visitor with Jenny for several months also tried it out, and I ended up purchasing another system for the boys. I'm rarely as enthusiastic about a new product before even testing it as I was about the Breeze Litter System. Was I vindicated, or disappointed? No spoilers here. Read my review. Then, if you've used this product for your own cats, write your own review by clicking on the Rate & Review link at the top of the page.

just curious as to how the kitties did with the pellets? I have 4 indoor kitties (all declawed) and when they were declawed each time I had to change the boxes and use pellets and noticed they hated them one would even poo in the bath tub instead of the box! Are they the same size as like yesterdays news pellets? Any problems with your kitties going from regular litter to pellets? How is the odor control? I think I have tried EVERY litter under the sun and NOTHING takes the odor away… I actually just toss all my litter twice a week!

Cami, if you read the linked review, you’d see that my cats like the litter. They were a bit suspicious at first, but after trying it used it regularly. As for the odor, as long as you scoop regularly and change the pad which collects the urine, there is NO odor.

However, I suspect the pellets might be very uncomfortable on the feet of declawed cats. They’re the same shape and hardness of the original Feline Pine pellets, but possibly a bit smaller. I haven’t used Yesterday’s News since I tested it years ago, so I can’t comment to that.

We have a couple of cats who spray inside the litter box (hey, at least it’s inside), so we use exclusively hooded boxes. Do they have a hooded version of this one?

I love the Breeze litter box system. I have two boxes and three cats. I am having trouble finding the pads and pellets now, I hope they haven’t been discontinued.
If you scoop the crap out right away there is no odor, not like the other litters I’ve tried. I replace the urine pads once a week and it really has worked out fine. I don’t want to go back to using the other litter boxes again.

I did find a little tent cover that fit nicely over these boxes for about $10 each at walmart.

Adrienne, I buy both the pellets and pads at Amazon.com. Search there for “Litter Breeze” and you’ll find a large assortment of buying choices. (I buy “six-packs” which save $$ and last about three months.)

I can’t stand the smell of cat litter it always makes me sick to my stomach. I usually don’t do the cat litter since it makes me so sick but from time to time I am the only who could do it. Even when I did it for a friend who had one cat I was still puking and gagging an extreme amount. Cat litter can be disgusting and I have tried all different sorts of litter, cleaning it often, nose plugs and anything else I could think of. I have read up on a lot of different products and I didn’t see if any of them could help my problem. Could this system actually help me when changing or cleaning the litter?

I love the Breeze litter box system!!!
UNFORTUNATELY for me and my 3 cats, I can’t get the pellets or liners ANYWHERE near where I live.
I am going to their site and complain. I am on a fixed income, so this system was really a money saver and far less mess to deal with!
But I am unhappy about not being able to keep it now. I can’t afford to buy the refills from them due to they cost more and then there is shipping and handling charges.
I just wished that one of the stores here carried them.

I just saw today they carry the pellets and pads at my local super walmart!
