About.com Member jilian947, posted a funny picture of her cat Tai, who was sassing her, as usual. She wrote:

"When my previous cat got cancer and had to cross the rainbow bridge, I was devastated. The following weekend I decided I had to have another cat in my life. We went to the local pet adoption and as soon as we walked in the door, I saw this gorgeous lynx point cat in a cage. He had the most beautiful big blue eyes that made me just melt. He had a big drain hanging out of a wound in his left flank, and I was told he'd been attacked by a coyote. Well, he had me at "Meow." And he's been meowing and talking and bossing us around ever since!"

About This Picture: "I let him out on my little patio to catch a little sun and fresh air. He thought he should be able to leave the patio to explore the real world. He was telling me how unfair I was being not letting him roam."

Isn’t it wonderful how our “little children” communicate with us. My cat Dottie gives me a pirate look. When she is not getting her way she will half close one eye
(her right one) staring at me with a glare that could turn you to stone, beating her tail on the floor in a slow rythym. I know I am really in trouble when I get what I call the “double pirate look!” I get this look regularly when she thinks it is time for a treat, or I’ve done something with one of the other cats and SHE got left out!
She is sooo serious about it it is absolutely funny! Her name is Dottie because she is multi-colored with a big spot of tan between her eyes onto her forehead. Hilarious! Thank you for the cute story and picture! Thank You Franny bringing it to us.

This is a great story – any cat who tangles with a coyote and survives, surely deserves his say!

Catherine, you may reply to my email, however your comments do not belong in a post about a cute cat picture.
