One VERY HOT day I was pulling into my parking lot at home - my car had no AC. I was happy to be home. Suddenly I knew beyond a doubt that I had to go to the city Animal Shelter- I pulled out of the space and drove 10 miles to the shelter. Once there I saw that their AC had failed and they were setting up fans. Then I saw that someone had forgotten to give the cats water!! All the dishes were bone dry. BBBT, a skinny little kitten in a cage, was panting furiously. I alerted the staff and all the kitties got their water. I fell in love with BBBT and took her home a few days later. The staff had named her Twinkle.
