Cat Picture of the Week: Rudy

I got Rudy from a dear friend who "rescued" him from another home where he was not welcomed. A described "little bad-ass," Rudy would pounce on the owner's other cat because he wanted to play. The owner wanted to have Rudy (then named "Tigger") put to sleep, so my friend rescued him and brought him to me. We have been inseparable ever since.

Rudy is the best cat I've ever had. He's just awesome. Not scared of anything or anybody. He really isn't a cat -- he's a little furry human.

Rudy represents the cat's version of an old truism: One person's "garbage" is another person's treasure. He is also the epitome of the red cat's personality, and a natural choice for my first Cat of the Week for December, 2010.
