Cats Readers' Choice Awards Nominations are Now Closed

It's been a busy week with over 200 nominations in for the Cats Readers' Choice Awards. The most nominations by far are in the Best Non-Profit Cats-Only Group, with Tabby's Place, Friends of Feline Rescue, and Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary running neck-and-neck. Also nominated (in alphabetical order) are:

• Alley Cat Rescue
• Carol's Ferals
• Cat-Man 2
• Diabetic Cats In Need
• The Cat House on the Kings
• and nine other organizations.

Best Non-Profit Pets Organization

In alphabetical order, the nominations to date are:

• Alabama Spay/Neuter
• BC SPCA
• Best Friends Society
• East Contra Costa County Homeless Animals Lifeline Organization
• Petfinder.com

I am waiting to hear back from one other nominated organization as to whether they want to decline or accept the nomination. Nominations are still open until February 15, 2012 at midnight E.T., so if you haven't already, make your nomination for Best Non-Profit Pets Organization now.
