As I wrote in yesterday's weekly Cats Newsletter, this year I only have one New Year's Resolution: to make a difference in the world of cats. That one spectrum is broad enough that it will include a number of efforts already listed in my 2012 New Year's Resolutions list.
Like everything else in life, improvements need to start at the source, at home. My Joey has been the unwitting victim of a series of medical problems, some of which could have been prevented with more regular veterinary checkups and prompt action addressing these issues. The most serious have to do with his Hyperthyroidism, treated with Radioactive Iodine Therapy, and subsequent suspected HCM (hyperthropic cardiomyopathy), now diagnosed as asthma. Could it be something else? As you can see, there are a number of unanswered questions, answers to which could possibly help other cats of the world.

Right. Because you do so LITTLE to make a difference, Franny.
