In January, it's human nature to have selective memory when reflecting on the most important events of the previous year. While major global events cannot be ignored, we each have memories in our personal lives which deserve a certain priority.

To those who either admired the innovative "rescued cat village" called Caboodle Ranch, or abhorred the practices if its owner, Craig Grant, the shutting down of Caboodle Ranch and the arrest of Craig Grant on felony charges made a huge impact on our memories of 2012. Other memories may be fabricated of strictly fun stuff, such as several new iPod games for cats and their humans to share. And of course, our own cats' illness or passing will place on or near the top of the list. Read more of my own memories of cat events in 2012.
