George is the whitest of white cats and the third Cat Picture of the Week for February, 2013.

George's only fault, according to his adopted parent(s) is that "you're screwed if you wear black." I don't know if white cats shed more than other color of cats, but my last white cat, Arthur, released hairs like a snowstorm. Now a healthy trim 14 pounds, George was headed toward obesity and potential diabetes at 18 1/2 pounds when he was 1.5 years old. He not only eats more reasonably, but he also enjoys outdoor exercise on a harness and leash. Although he was about to be "put to sleep" by a veterinarian when he was adopted, he is in the lap of luxury now, complete with a few Temptations treats every day. Life is good for George.
