Adrienne has a cat who gave birth five months ago. She kept one of the male kittens, and has heard that the cat won't have a heat cycle as long as she still has a kitten.

Franny, I’m so glad you answered this question. I always thought my family was pretty responsible about spaying and neutering, but I was just reading a diary my mother kept in 1979, and discovered my beautiful Aja had kittens in March and then again in JULY! Poor little thing.
