Cat Breed of the Week: Bengal

By December 31, 2013

Follow me on:

The Bengal is the first registered breed that came from the pairing of a domestic cat with a wild one; in this case, the Asian Leopard Cat.

Bengal Kitten from Foothill Felines As a result, the Bengal combines the exotic look and feel of the small forest-dwelling wild cats with the dependability and loving temperament of the domestic cat. Most Bengals sold as pets are either fourth or fifth generation from their wild ancestor, and are friendly, curious, confident cats. If you like the "wild look," but want a loving, loyal cat, the Bengal may be the cat for you. The photo shown is of a Bengal kitten I visited and played with at Foothill Felines several years ago.

I have 2 Bengals – A brother and sister that are now 10 years old and they are the best cats ever. Very intelligent and sweet, loving and VOCAL. Love them!

I also have 2 Bengals – brothers that are almost 7 yrs old. We’ve had cats for 29 yrs and I couldn’t agree more that they are the most intelligent and loving cats ever. Contrary to what a lot of people might think, or the “bad press” that Bengals get, they are not “dangerous or wild”. They can be trained easily and seem to live for being with you no matter what you’re doing. They are perhaps the most loyal cats we’ve ever had and we love them to pieces!

Hello! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect against hackers?

I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on.
Any tips?
