Alabama Purrsians Need Good Homes
Wednesday December 27, 2006
A first-time visitor cared enough to post a comment under another blog entry, that I feel it should be promoted to the main page.
In Birmingham, Alabama, TEARS, a non-profit rescue group, recently took in 101 cats who had been living in deplorable conditions. The few photos on the TEARS (The Emergency Animal Rescue Service) web site show apparent Persian cats, but it is unknown exactly how many are of that breed. Nevertheless, for my Alabama readers, these cats desperately need foster homes or forever homes. Likewise, TEARS could use monetary donations to help provide the medical care these cats so sorely need.
NOTE: These cats will only be adopted to inside-only homes, and there is an application process and an adoption fee required. Please address any questions to TEARS at adoptapet@charter.net.
