Bob, the Cat, Gets a Handle on Dental Care

When it's toothbrushing time, Bob the cat really takes control of the action with his own battery-powered toothbrush. I enjoyed his enthusiasm the minute his human mentioned "Time to brush your teeth, Bob."

This video is a powerful and amusing reminder that February is Pets Dental Health Month. When is the last time your cat was anywhere near a toothbrush? When did he last get a complete dental examination at your vet and/or get his teeth professionally cleaned.

Adult cats should have a dental exam every year, and senior cats at least twice a year. That, combined with a regular home dental care program will help avoid lost teeth, peridontal disease, and other painful oral diseases. Use these resources to start your cat's own dental care plan:
