Got Meat (By-Products)?

Many popular grocery store cat foods contain meat by-products as a main source of protein. Interestingly enough, also many of the pet foods routinely recommended and sold by veterinarians all over the country also contain meat by-products. Is this a good thing or bad? Check this cat food glossary listing, then judge for yourself.

Time to read the labels. Many of the regular channels (such as veterinary clinics) get special promotions to sell specific brands–it is not an indicator of quality.
