Cat Food Brands A-Z
Tuesday July 31, 2007
As cat owners become more informed consumers, we need a way to compare one brand of dry or canned cat food against another, to ensure our cats get the very best nutrition they need for growth, healthy skin, teeth, and muscle development. In order to help my readers develop their knowledge about cat food, I've provided the necessary tools for learning how to select cat foods and for understanding exactly what the cat food labels say.The next logical step for those who prefer the convenience of opening a can of cat food or a bag of dry cat food is a "one-stop" list of all brands of cat foods which includes the ingredients listings and guaranteed analysis (where available) for each food.
You have the tools you need - now you can put them to use with the:
A-Z list of Cat Food Manufacturers and Brands.
DISCLAIMER: Inclusion of specific brands of cat food in these articles is for the convenience of readers for comparing ingredients and nutrients from one food to another. It is NOT intended nor to be construed as a recommendation of any included food by Franny Syufy nor by About.com.

What a great article. Thanks so much for all this work. As a pet sitter, I’m constantly answering questions about diet, etc. You’ve made my life much simpler. If you get a chance to drop by my site I hope I can give you a giggle with the first ever edition of The Laughing Cat carnival. It’s a look at the sillier side of our kitty-cat friends.
After the pet food scare, I use Precise dry and canned chicken formula for my two cats. It’s wonderful. They have stopped throwing up after meals and their coats are smooth and shiny. The only problem is it is very hard to find. They only sell it in one store in my area and that store has inconvenient hours.
Since Moses and Matilda adopted me, I have used Nutro products. After the recall, I continued with Natural Choice Complete Care Weight Management dry food and my babies are healthy and beautiful. And Nutro and Petco keep the price down with coupons and discounts.
I thought this was a site that cred about animals until I saw the Iams advertisement. Proctor and Gamble! God, what a farce! If you love animals, you’d never buy a P&G product! Most people are unaware of the horrible animal experiments they continue to perform on cats , bunnies , and dogs. SAY NO TO P&G PLEASE!!!!
