Our Forever Bond with Cats

For thousands of years humans have bonded with their cats, and today we recognize that that bond has no limits. The unique bond between cats and humans is awesome to behold and even more incredible to experience. Each day brings new pleasures, just by living side-by-side with one of Nature's most beautiful, complex and mysterious creatures.That this bond continues even beyond the grave is undeniable evidence of its capacity. Explore here the many facets of this powerful, everlasting bond. My bond with Shannon, my first GuideCat, solidified during the last years of his life, and it continues to this very day. I still often feel his presence nearby as he watches over me as I work, and I am convinced he had a role in sending me Jaspurr, who is like him in many ways.

I so agree with you. When my beloved Siamese, Dookie died at 18 I felt so lost but within 2 months Buddy came into my life and I know Dookie sent him to comfort me! We have such a bond, one I thought I’d never have again after Dookie. When I get to Rainbow Bridge I’ll thank him personally!
i would like to correspond with someone who understands this bond - i’m going through a depressing time currently regarding my sick cat, and people I live and work with, that don’t understand and even threaten to “get rid of him” (I hate that expression). Mittens is 15 -
