Cat Picture of the Week: Taz
Taz is three months old in this picture, which is when I adopted him. Taz was feral and part of a "community rescue effort" where the City was going to capture and destroy approximately 36 feral cats who were living around a boat ramp. I'm pleased to say I am lucky today to have my "Taz Man" as a companion. Taz was rescued by a wonderful assistant at my vet's office (Suzanne), and she took him home and cared for him and other rescued kitties until they were ready for adoption. I am happy to say that all 36 of the cats and kittens were rescued and found homes. Taz is absolutely the sweetest kitty...you would never know he had been wild. He is healthy and a very loving boy.© Cathy Yates
People who have hung around my site for awhile have probably caught on that I'm a sucker for a pretty face, and even more of a sucker for rescue stories. Taz captured my attention and my heart on both counts here. My Cats of the Week are selected from general photo submittals. Taz's photo was submitted for the 2008 Tuxedo Cats Gallery and is also featured there.
You may submit your own cat's photo, but you also must observe the Photo Submittal Guidelines.

Hi, my cat keeps moving her kittens around different places! I don’t know why, do you know of any reason why she might be doing this?
Hi webmaster!
