Guide Review - "Natural Healing for Dogs and Cats A-Z," by Cheryl Schwartz, D.V.M.
Dr.Schwartz uses a short introduction to briefly explain the basics of holistic and natural healing modalities, including accupuncture, accupressure, herbs, homeopathy, flower essences, and diet. The remainder of the book contains a tabbed alphabetic index of conditions and symptoms, each followed by suggestions for treatment using the various modalities. For the most part, the instructions are clear and complete, although I personally ha a problem with some of the terminology used for dosage. Novices leaning toward natural remedies would benefit by bringing this book along when browsing the health food stores. For the more experienced users, it is an excellent reference.
