Guide Review - Azmira Cat Formula

Azmira uses poultry meal as its main protein source (60% chicken and 40% turkey, according to a review in The Whole Cat Journal.) The AAFCO definition of "turkey meal" is "the ground clean combination of flesh and skin with or without accompanying bone, derived from the parts or whole carcasses of turkey or a combination thereof, exclusive of feathers, heads, feet and entrails." Since Azmira is dedicated to natural food products, it would seem that poultry meal may be closer to what cats would get from eating in the wild. I can live with that definition, although there are experts who will turn thumbs down on meal in any form.

My cats love it, Member LeahTheige

4 years ago my cat had stones. After his surgery he was having tons of problem with bacteria forming in his stomach. My vet and I tried so many different cat foods. Within a week of starting to feed my cats Azmira, he quit having any problems at all. I buy it online and any time I have to buy store bought food, he gets the runs. I completely believe in this product. And my 23 lb cat lost 3 lbs just by following the food quantity guidelines! I couldn't even get him to lose weight with ""light"" food from other brands. I used to be a Sciene Diet die hard...no longer. Now I'm an Azmira die hard!
