Guide Review - California Natural Chicken and Rice Dry Cat Food

California Natural Chicken and Rice is a no-nonsense dry food manufactured by Natura Pet Products. Its listed ingredients are chicken, chicken meal, ground brown rice, chicken fat, sunflower oil, flaxseed, and certain added vitamins and minerals. The product contains no by-products (which are obtained by rendering), animal fats, corn (which is cheap, but sometimes causes allergies), or chemical preservatives. Consumers who are concerned with the quality of essential nutrients in food for their cats will be impressed with the consistency of standards set by Natura. This premium dry cat food is definitely worth checking out.

Great food, but no takers, Member thatswho

I just lost one beloved cat to renal failure at only 4 years old. Though I don't know the cause, I decided to feed food with less protein to my remaining four. It's hard to find that without it being almost all grains. California Natural seemed best. Unfortunately, even my fattest, eat-anything cat doesn't like it! I bought 30 cans! They'll eat the dry food, herring, and I thought that's what I was buying in the cans, but it turns out it was a case of deep water fish formula, plus 5 chicken and brown rice, I think it is, and one venison. Why is it cats always seem to love the usual supermarket brands, and turn up their noses at the healthy stuff? There must be some way to make it more appealing!
