The recipe includes turkey, chicken meal, chicken, selected veggies, fruit (raw apples), along with other ingredients carefully chosen from the five basic food groups, to ensure a nutritionally complete and balanced diet. Like its simpler counterpart, California Natural, Innova does not contain chemical preservatives, corn, or by-products. The fat is from chicken fat, not animal fat, which is rendered from uncertain origins. Innova also contains Omega 6 and Omega 3 fatty acids, which help keep the immune system healthy, along with probiotics, which are believed to assist digestive tract health. If I had to choose one dry cat food only, Innova would probably be my pick.
