Introduction

In an ideal world, all cats would come complete with an owner's manual. But since yours probably didn't, this user's guide will provide the basic information needed for maintaining your new companion in prime condition.

Your new Cat was designed for optimum performance and speed, and will give you many years of enjoyable operation, provided you use the proper fuel, observe reasonable care of its exterior, and comply with the recommended maintenance schedule.

This Warranty provides a lifetime (the Cat's)guarantee of unconditional love, companionship, and entertainment. Please note: Cats are not disposable, but are living, sentient creatures. Any perceived design or performance fault of the Cat is in the eye of the owner, and it is the owner's responsibility to determine which user error is occurring and to correct it immediately. (See Diagnostics)

Warning: Any sudden failure to operate normally may be an emergency, and care should be taken to get your Cat immediately into a shop for diagnosis and repair.

    Translation for Novice Owner

Ignoring signs of sickness and/or trying to diagnose and treat your cat at home is false economy. You can forstall serious illness by taking your cat to the veterinarian at the first sign of sickness or injury.
Tip: Keep the phone number to your local veterinarian next to your phone, along with the phone number to an emergency vet and the National Animal Poison Control Center Hotline. 800-548-2423 (Charges $30 per case)
