Featuring White Cats
February is the last big push of winter, and represents the glistening snow that blankets the budding crocuses beneath. You won't feel cold at all, though, with a white February cat to warm your heart and your lap.
A bit of genetic trivia about all-white cats: Most of them with blue eyes are deaf, however odd-eyed cats (one blue and one green or yellow) either have full hearing, or are deaf only in the ear closest to the blue eye. Our February white cats reflect the pristine brilliance of snow, along with the purity of their souls.

Cat's name: Chico, the Devil Kitty disguised as an angel. His favorite pasttimes include shredding toilet paper, knocking over opened boxes of laundry detergent, tipping over barstools, and removing couch cushions and depositing them in the kitchen. Chico lives with Lisa, who tolerates his pranks 'cause he's so cute.
Bess is an angel kitty of Joyannie: Abandoned, found her way to our door step -
Enjoyed and loved her for 12 years-
She has Angel wings never to be forgotten.
BalletCat has a wonderful story about her Namak: "When Namak was a baby, still in heaven, she wanted to make a Valentine for her Mother. So, she gathered up red paper and white lace and scissors and pen and ink, and began to make her card. Alas, the bottle of ink spilled onto her white fur and she went to her mother very sad a told her she had ruined the valentine she was making for her. Her mother said, oh no, my little kitten ... YOU are my Valentine!"
Chaser and her sibling Laser live with Robin Riglin, the former About Guide to the Mid-Atlantic U.S. for Visitors. Robin says that although Laser is a bit timid and shy, she's a real love-bug.
Sapphire is a beautiful blue-eyed Turkish Angora with a sweet personality, and lives happily with Lin Mrachek. Sapphire's photo also illustrates the Turkish Angora Profile page on this site.
"She's a real darling, the queen of the household. Only wants to spend time with me in the bedroom, either talking to me and watching me move about the room, or being naughty by smacking tissues all over the place, or being cuddly by giving me my nightly knead and then crawling under the blankets to sleep with me."
